The 2024 OAPA Annual Conference is for Everyone...Especially YOU!

Picture this...you arrive at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris on the afternoon of Thursday, September 26. You check into your classy, comfortable hotel room, then head down to grab a prohibition-era craft cocktail or mocktail and dinner at The Two-One. There, you bump into other PAs you know, and make a few new friends too, then you all stroll outside to enjoy some fresh autumn air on the patio and watch the sunset.

Yes, now you are in conference mode!

After a good night's sleep, you come down the elevator bright and early Friday at 7 a.m., check in at the registration table, and then head in for breakfast, featuring a Product Theater with AbbVie. After an opening hello from OAPA leadership, you take in a fantastic legislative update from OAPA and AAPA, followed by a coffee break with more than a dozen exhibitors who are eager to connect with you.

Pleasantly re-caffeinated, you head back in for more great CME programming, then enjoy a lunch featuring a Product Theater with Sanofi and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, followed by even more CME in the afternoon, plus time to meet the exhibitors you missed earlier in the day.

Friday evening, you give your brain a well-deserved break as you wind down with fellow conference-goers out in "the backyard"! Enjoy appetizers and drinks, chat with friends, and breathe in the fresh air overlooking a quaint pond. After the cocktail hour, you head back in to participate in the fun and casual Trivia Night, with proceeds supporting the OAPA Legislative Fund.

After another restful night at the Renaissance, you get going early again on Saturday with breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by several CME sessions or participation in the basic suturing workshop. The morning break features poster sessions for your perusal, which leads to more CME or the advanced suturing workshop. You enjoy another great meal with friends and colleagues and then celebrate with us at the OAPA Awards & Scholarships Recognition Ceremony, followed by a compelling keynote from Dr. Whitney of OhioPHP on Ohio's Confidential Monitoring Program.

The afternoon includes the Career PAthfinder for early career PAs and students, a wellbeing workshop, and more excellent CME - whatever is the best fit for you! - plus a coffee break with recruiters. And when the end of the conference rolls around at 5:30p.m. on Saturday and you pack up your car, you'll reflect fondly on your OAPA conference experience the whole drive home.
